FAQ - Using a QuickLink
Help for Making a QuickLink
How do I accept an invitation with a QuickLink?
You don't. You use one of your own invitations to send an invitation to the person publishing the QuickLink. All our pages clearly state this when they say "Invite Marc Freedman [or whoever] to connect on LinkedIn", both on our jump page here on MyLinkInvitation.com and the invitation page on LinkedIn.
Why would a person create and send me a QuickLink instead of directly inviting me?
There are many reaspons. See the FAQ for Making a QuickLink
Why do I still have to click multiple times to use a QuickLink and actually send an invitation?. That doesn't sound very quick to me.
QuickLinks are the fastest way to send LinkedIn invitations. They are dependent on and fully comply with LinkedIn policies and processes, which do not support a more direct method.
QuickLinks are much faster than directly sending an invitation on LinkedIn. In most cases QuickLinks just take three clicks. Compare that to the laborious process of running a LinkedIn searches, displaying a profile, and manually typing in names and email address for every individual invitation.
I used a friend's QuickLink. LinkedIn forced me to enter his name and email address. Why can't I just click through to send the invitation like you promise?
Your LinkedIn account has been restricted by LinkedIn. You need to contact LinkedIn customer service to remove any restrictions. Another option is to select any colleague or classmate relationship. That may not be accurate. But your friend sent the QuickLink to you. So he should be flexible about that.
